Job summary

Red E, LLC seeks a Product Specialist to act as the technical product expert in North Dakota and surrounding areas. You will support customers, dealers, and sales with field-based demonstrations, setup, and troubleshooting to optimize Red E equipment.

You will travel frequently across the Midwest, conducting clinics, evaluations, and training, while collaborating with engineering and service teams to improve products and customer ownership experiences.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor degree in agriculture, diesel tech, engineering, mechanics, or related field.
• 3+ years with agricultural equipment, farming operations, dealerships, field service, or technical sales.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control-system issues.
• Valid driver's license; Class A CDL preferred; ability to travel frequently.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of independent work in a field-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop expert knowledge of Red E products, equipment, technologies, and applications.
• Provide field-based technical support to customers, dealers, and sales personnel.
• Assist with product setup, calibration, operation, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Diagnose technical issues with service and engineering collaboration.
• Support customers during critical planting, application, tillage, and harvest periods.
• Plan and conduct product demonstrations, customer clinics, and training events.
• Explain features, applications, ROI considerations, and competitive advantages.
• Support sales in identifying solutions that fit customer operations.
• Develop and deliver hands-on training for customers and dealers.
• Create setup instructions, troubleshooting resources, and operator guidance documents.
• Gather customer feedback on performance, reliability, usability, and needs.
• Coordinate field testing, product evaluations, and pre-production trials.
• Build relationships with growers, dealers, and industry contacts.
• Represent Red E at trade shows, field days, and industry meetings.
• Ensure work is safe, efficient, and high quality; maintain organized practices.

Job description

The Product Specialist serves as the technical product expert and primary field resource for customers, dealers, sales personnel, and internal teams throughout North Dakota and surrounding areas. This customer-facing, field-based role is focused on supporting the successful introduction, demonstration, sale, operation, and continuous improvement of RedE products and equipment.

This role works collaboratively with customers, dealers, engineering, sales, service, and product development teams to ensure products are operating effectively and customers receive exceptional support throughout the ownership experience.

Travel Requirements

This role requires frequent travel throughout the Midwest and surrounding areas to support customers, dealers, demonstrations, training events, field evaluations, and industry events. Team members should expect significant travel during peak planting, application, and harvest seasons, including occasional overnight stays. Travel schedules may vary based on customer needs and seasonal demands. This role requires a high level of comfort working in field-based and travel-heavy environments. This role can work out of our Fargo or Wichita offices.

• Create and maintain setup instructions, troubleshooting resources, training materials, and operator guidance documents.
• Gather and communicate customer feedback regarding product performance, reliability, usability, and customer needs.
• Coordinate field testing, product evaluations, and pre-production trials.
• Build relationships with growers, dealers, agricultural organizations, and industry contacts.
• Represent Red E professionally at trade shows, field days, customer events, and industry meetings.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high-quality standard.
• Maintain accurate and organized work practices.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in agriculture, diesel technology, engineering, mechanics, or a related field.
• Three or more years of experience with agricultural equipment, farming operations, equipment dealerships, product support, field service, or technical sales.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of agricultural equipment and systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and control-system issues.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Class A CDL or ability to obtain Class A CDL preferred.
• Ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned territory.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and work ethic.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and adapt in a dynamic environment.
