Job summary

AGCO is seeking a Product Specialist to support customers and dealers by maximizing product and technology performance, delivering exceptional service, and educating on offerings. This remote, permanent role serves the Wisconsin region.

You will conduct product demonstrations, build dealer relationships, coordinate training and events, and maintain robust metrics through required administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma with 5+ years of experience in sales, marketing, customer service or technical support in agriculture.
  • Experience operating agricultural equipment and knowledge of technology products in agriculture.
  • Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent in agriculture fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • 2+ years of sales in a dealer-based distribution channel; 1+ years in ag/industrial equipment; strong agronomy knowledge and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support customers and dealers to maximize product and tech performance and deliver exceptional customer experience.
  • Educate customers and dealers on products, technology offerings and services.
  • Demonstrate products and coordinate clinics, training and farm shows.
  • Build dealer relationships during customer visits and qualify leads.
  • Complete internal admin tasks for metrics and reporting (Lead Gen, Training, Demonstrations).
  • Coordinate and help execute customer-oriented events.

The Product Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring our customers can maximize their experience with our products and services. This role adds value to our customers and our dealer network by providing exceptional customer service; educating both customers and dealers on our products, technology offerings, and services. This role willbe responsible forthe Wisconsin region, including Eau Claire, La Crosse, Madison, and Janesville.

Your Impact

Support customers and dealers to ensure they can optimizethe performance and efficiency of our products and technology offerings while providing an exceptional customer experience. Execution of education and training of our products and technology suite of offerings

Act as a teamplayer;working together with your peers and our dealer network to improve customer satisfaction.Assistwith and execute product demonstrations with a focus on ensuring our customers have exceptional experience and get the most of our products and services.

Support dealers with customer visits with the intent to build relationships, collect VOC information, prospect, or qualify leads.

Must be disciplined in completing internal administrative tasks relating to position to ensure robust metrics and reporting (ie. Lead Gen., Training, Demonstrations)

Coordinate, assist, and help execute other customer-oriented events – clinics, training, farm shows, dealer events,etc.

Your Experience and qualifications

High school diploma with 5+ years of experience working in a Sales, marketing, customer service, and/or technical support role working in the agricultural industry – equipment, technology, inputs, retail, etc.

Experienceoperatingagricultural equipment and robust knowledge of technology products in the agricultural industry.

Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in agriculture-oriented fields

Proficiencyin Microsoft Office, specifically using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

2+ years of sales experience in a dealer-based distribution channel, 1+ years’ experience working with ag or industrial equipment or associated technology products. Strong agronomy knowledge &Strong communicationskills.
