Job summary

Google's gTech Users and Products (gUP) Home team seeks a Product Support Manager to translate user feedback into insights shaping the Home portfolio. You will collaborate with Product and Engineering, drive strategic support initiatives, and ensure flawless launches and ongoing improvements for a trusted user experience.

The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, cross-functional partnerships, and a deep understanding of the user journey within Google's ecosystem.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years in project management or a customer-facing role.
  • Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science (preferred).
  • 5 years managing projects with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies (preferred).
  • Experience applying AI/AI-powered tools in a support context (preferred).
  • Ability to translate data and user feedback into actionable product improvements.
  • Track record launching and supporting consumer hardware, software, or subscription products.
  • Passion for Smart Home Technologies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in project management or a customer-facing role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategies that leverage AI and AI-powered tools (e.g., Agentic AI) in a support context.
  • Expertise in translating data and user feedback into actionable product improvements and recommendations.
  • Proven track record of launching and supporting consumer hardware, software, or subscription products.
  • Passion for Smart Home Technologies.

As a Product Support Manager within the gUP Home team, you will translate user feedback and support data into actionable insights that shape the future of our Home portfolio.

This role requires a deep understanding of the user journey, a passion for product quality, and the ability to engage strategically in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. You will drive insights and strategy to execution, from ensuring flawless launches to driving long-term improvements that fulfill our mission to create a home that takes care of the people inside it and the world around it.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $114000 - $164000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
