The Walt Disney Company in New York is seeking a software professional to design and implement backend components for Disney's Unified Messaging Platform. You will work on cloud-based data transformations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance across services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior developers while delivering features end-to-end with quality and robust architecture.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience building internet-scale web or services applications.
• Experience with Java, cloud services, and common development tools.
• Strong understanding of software development fundamentals and tests.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and modern agile teams.

Responsabilidades

• Design core backend components for the Unified Messaging Platform.
• Implement cloud-based asynchronous data transformations.
• Lead service design with focus on scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with squad, PMs, designers, QA, and operations.
• Provide guidance to junior developers and participate in code reviews.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and on-call rotation.
• Own features end-to-end with robust architecture.
• Ramp up on new domains and technologies.
