Summary/Objective

The Product Services Associate I will perform specific tasks to deliver on S, Q, D, C expectations. The Product Services Associate I is to accurately in-process and out-process returned customer firearms and accessories directing them to the appropriate person or location within the facility. All returned products will be handled professionally to provide services that meet or exceed our customer’s expectations.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Ensure that customer’s returning products are responded to immediately upon arrival.

  • Provide email documentation including photos to gunsmiths and customer service.

  • Responsible for the process and assessment of repairs and paid services.

  • Create and submit customers' firearm refund requests and replacements with documentation to management.

  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to management.

  • Work directly with the warehouse department and request parts using visual work orders.

  • Manage all RMA reports.

  • Work with Product Service Team to ensure TAT is kept at a minimal time by following repair status and process.

  • Assist employees with their processes, observe to ensure metrics are achieved, and troubleshoot as required.

  • Advocate for the organization and maintain compliance by supporting established policies, procedures and standards.

  • Identify and implement necessary personnel coaching and development to upgrade and maintain personnel skill levels.

  • Encourage staff’s professional development and address personnel issues through diplomacy, sensitivity and intercultural awareness.

  • Accomplish results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and motivating employees.

  • Ensure effective employee relations; create an ethical, non-discriminatory and safe work environment; establish effective communication lines/methods; identify and respond to employee problems and grievances; deal with interpersonal conflict.

  • Drive accountability for quality and productivity.

  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.


Qualifications


  • Familiar with all working parts of Kimber Products.

  • Familiar with repairs and processes of said repair.

  • Ability to train peers and lower level product services reps.

  • Completes and maintains accurate paperwork.

  • Assists in other areas as needed.

  • Must be able to communicate with management and peers effectively.

  • Time Management skills are necessary.

  • Able to follow instructions.

  • Able to work in a team.

  • Able to make sound decisions.

  • Able to work with computers and several different software programs.


Supervisory Responsibilities

This job does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.


Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.


The employee works in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.


The employee is frequently required to lift up to 50 pounds.

Attendance is an essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance including the ability to work regular hours and shifts, overtime before and after shifts and on weekends. Ability to work as part of a team, including all related departments/plants or independently as required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.


Work Authorization

This position requires compliance with the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by all pertinent regulations and are required to show proof substantiating this upon being hired.
