Job summary

Vantor is seeking a Product Security Technical Manager to join our Cybersecurity team. This role will strengthen the security of our software products by partnering with developers, improving security across the CI/CD lifecycle, and mentoring engineering teams on secure development practices.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on in application security, familiar with threat research and security tooling, and comfortable communicating risk to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, application security, or product security.
• Experience managing secure coding and application security programs.
• Experience deploying and maintaining security scanning tools within SDLC/CI–CD.
• Familiar with app security testing: static analysis, SCA, secrets detection, container security, IaC scanning, cloud security.
• Hands-on incident response and investigations.
• Ability to use AI tools for incident investigation and remediation.
• Strong knowledge of software development practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the application security team and coordinate with developers, cloud, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Develop and manage a secure coding program with standards, training, and remediation processes.
• Deploy and maintain security scanning tools and embed security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze findings and provide practical remediation recommendations.
• Define application security metrics, reporting, and risk management processes.
• Participate in incident response activities, including investigation and root-cause analysis.
• Research vulnerabilities and security tooling relevant to Vantor’s apps and infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers on secure design, coding, and testing; foster cross-team collaboration.
• Promote a risk-based security culture enabling secure software delivery.
