Job summary

Meta is seeking Security Engineers to provide technical leadership across large security problem spaces, including web and AI security. You will collaborate with product teams and partner security groups to define strategy, build tooling, and ship secure-by-design features for agentic products and apps.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in secure infrastructure and 8+ years coding in languages like Python, Java, Go, Rust, and C/C++. Strong threat modeling and cross‑boundary influence are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years work experience building and securing enterprise-scale infrastructure software and services.
• 8+ years work experience authoring code in Python, PHP, Java, Ruby, Go, Rust, C/C++ (or similar language).
• Experience fixing infrastructure security problems across broad corporate boundaries using influence and relationships.
• Experience owning a component or system and threat modeling of infrastructure software and services.
