Job summary

Johnson Controls Fire Solutions is seeking a strategic and technical Manager, Product Security Engineering to lead security across a global portfolio of life safety products including embedded firmware, connected devices, cloud platforms, and IoT. This role defines and advances the security execution strategy, aligns with Global Cybersecurity standards, and builds scalable processes for risk management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/Cybersecurity/Engineering or related technical discipline.
10+ years in software/cybersecurity leadership roles with hands-on technical expertise.
Experience developing/executing product security strategies in complex orgs.
Knowledge of secure development practices, cloud/IoT security, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

Lead product security strategy and roadmaps for the Fire Solutions portfolio.
Establish governance, standards, risk management across the product portfolio.
Drive SSDLC, threat modeling, architecture reviews, and security design reviews.
Oversee vulnerability management, incident response, and regulatory alignment.
Collaborate with Global Cybersecurity, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality teams.
Promote security ownership and cross-functional security initiatives.
