Code Red Partners helps a lean FinTech scale its security-first product. You’ll join a small, highly capable team embedding security into how software is designed, built and shipped on sensitive infrastructure.

As a founding member, you’ll review architecture, drive SAST/DAST tooling, apply AI to enhance scanning, and partner with engineering to secure the financial platform from ground up. You'll help shape AI security guardrails and contribute to a fast-moving, low-bureaucracy environment with

Qualifications

• Shipped production code in previous roles.
• Using AI to accelerate security tasks or development.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous startup environments.
• Experience with secure architecture, cloud security, and fintech/payments exposure.

Responsibilities

• Embed security into how software is designed, built and shipped.
• Review architecture and design for security best practices.

We're the hiring partner for a lean, talent-dense Product Security team at a FinTech company with real household-name potential in the next 3 to 4 years.

You'll be joining a security team of ~5 at a company of well under 200 people. Flat structure, no bureaucracy, no legacy tech debt - just builders shipping fast. If you've ever been frustrated sitting behind multiple layers of process at a big bank or a bloated tech company, this is the opposite of that.

The role/ day-to-day:

You'll be one of the founding members of the Product Security function, embedding security directly into how the team designs, builds, and ships software across their sensitive infrastructure. You'll be reviewing architecture, writing and improving SAST/DAST tooling, applying AI to level up their scanning posture, and partnering shoulder to shoulder with engineering to secure a financial platform from the ground up. You'll also help shape how the company thinks about AI security (guardrails, guidance, the whole picture).
