Overview

Your Title: Product Sales Executive, Structural Modeling
Job Location: US - Remote (Eastern US preferred)
Our Department: AECO

Are you a results-driven Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Sales professional in the Steel or Concrete Industry with strong communication skills, business acumen, and technical aptitude? If so, you should consider joining our Product Sales Team at Trimble, a leader in the growing construction software industry.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will be responsible for growing new structural detailing/BIM software accounts and developing business with our current customers.

The Structural Modeling Product Sales Executive will collaborate with our Account Executives to discover customer needs, uncover pain points, and demonstrate how Tekla Structures can address their critical business needs. You will help the customer or prospect end-to-end through their buying process while working collaboratively with our Account Sales Executives and Sales Engineers.

  • Collaborate with our Account Sales Executives in finding, researching, developing, and closing leads/prospects for Tekla Structures software.
  • Communicating with prospective customers by uncovering their needs and identifying sales opportunities as it relates to Tekla Structures.
  • Keeping up with product information and enhancements, as well as relevant industry updates, through collaboration with our product marketing teams.
  • Building opportunities and a pipeline for Tekla Structures through collaboration with the Account Sales Executives.
  • Collaborate and assist in the research, development, and maintenance of long and short-range sales and territory plans.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

  • Specialization or understanding of workflows within the structural steel fabrication and detailing or structural concrete industries.
  • Experience or knowledge of Tekla Structures software is preferred.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a Team environment with a naturally collaborative mindset.
  • 3+ years of proven sales experience is advantageous. Software sales preferred.
  • Excellent negotiating and closing skills with customers/prospects as well as with internal resources are desirable.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Google Suite products is a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the United States up to 20% of the time.

Compensation

This position is compensated by a combination of base salary plus commission earnings. The following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits are provided in good faith and may change. The range is based on a full-time schedule and Trimble reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other protected status.

  • Hiring Range: 180k-200k OTE +/-
  • Pay Rate Type: Salary + Commission
