Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation, a leading maker of access equipment, is seeking a Product Safety Intern to support the Product Safety department throughout its product life cycle. You will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Compliance, Sales, Service, Marketing, Purchasing, Quality and Operations to gain hands-on experience and deliver research-driven solutions.

The role emphasizes learning, cross-functional interaction, and contributing to safety documentation and compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with GPA 3.0+.

Responsibilities

• Provide research for standards and regulations for existing and new products.
• Assist with evaluating products and features for manuals and warning decals.
• Participate with advanced technology teams in evaluating autonomy solutions for regulations and standards.
• Assist with research for customer support safe use and modification inquiries.
• Prepare information such as Field Service Bulletins and Service Information.
• Attend cross-functional meetings with Training, Service, Technical Publications and Marketing.
• Support team processes to align with improvement activities.
