As a Product Safety Engineer for Milwaukee Tool, you will be located at our Corporate Headquarters in Brookfield, WI. You will work in a fast-paced environment to define safety requirements as a member of a cross-functional design team. You will utilize engineering skills to contribute to the development and qualification of new products within Milwaukee Tool.
Your primary duty is to assist in the coordination and execution of Hazard Analysis Reviews of Milwaukee products.
Education & Work Experience Requirement: (bachelor, master or other degree and field of study; any certifications required for the role; number of years prior relevant work experience needed to perform the job offered): Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred) or technical equivalent.
Minimum Requirements of Role: Handling product safety activities, regulatory listings design of power tools, Li-ion battery packs/systems, battery chargers, outdoor power equipment or consumer products Risk-Based Hazard Analysis Perform and review failure mode and effects analysis Fault Tree Analysis Electrical Circuit Analysis
