Milwaukee Tool in Brookfield, WI is seeking a Product Safety Engineer to join our fast-paced design team. You will define safety requirements and contribute to the development and qualification of new products within our New Product Development unit.

You will conduct Hazard Analysis Reviews with cross‑functional engineering teams, assess risks, advise on safety tests and constraints, and review embedded designs, manuals, and product labeling to minimize risk and ensure compliance.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred) or technical equivalent.

• Review embedded system designs.

• Review operator's manuals, on-product markings, and other technical communications.

As a Product Safety Engineer for Milwaukee Tool, you will be located at our Corporate Headquarters in Brookfield, WI. You will work in a fast-paced environment to define safety requirements as a member of a cross-functional design team. You will utilize engineering skills to contribute to the development and qualification of new products within Milwaukee Tool.

Your primary duty is to assist in the coordination and execution of Hazard Analysis Reviews of Milwaukee products.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

Define safety requirements as a member of a cross-functional design team. Contribute to the development and qualification of new products for the New Product Development business unit.

Conduct Hazard Analysis Reviews with cross-functional engineering teams to perform risk assessments of concepts, designs, and products.

Education & Work Experience Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred) or technical equivalent.

Minimum Requirements of Role:

Handling product safety activities, regulatory listings design of power tools, Li-ion battery packs/systems, battery chargers, outdoor power equipment or consumer products
