Job description

Responsibilities

• Perform product safety testing in accordance with IEC/EN 62368-1 and IEC 61010-1
• Conduct electrical safety evaluations including HiPot, leakage current, ground bond, insulation resistance, temperature rise, and abnormal operation testing
• Review schematics, BOMs, and critical component lists
• Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare and review safety test reports for CB Scheme and certification submissions
• Support CBTL and NRTL activities, audits, and scope expansion efforts
• Communicate test requirements and results with customers and internal teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, or equivalent technical background
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in product safety testing or certification
• Strong working knowledge of IEC/EN 62368-1 and IEC 61010-1
• Experience with CB Scheme testing and documentation
• Hands‑on experience with electrical safety test equipment
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with medical device safety testing (e.g., IEC 60601-1)
• Experience working in a CBTL or NRTL accredited laboratory
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 quality systems
• Customer‑facing technical support experience
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
