Product Repair Technician II - Weekend Shift

Responsibilities
  1. Read and interpret blueprints, basic drawings, and schematics.
  2. Perform necessary cleaning and cosmetic paint touch-up on repaired units.
  3. Package repaired units and accessories.
  4. Use hand and pneumatic tools effectively.
  5. Utilize electrical and mechanical diagnostic equipment.
  6. Identify parts and materials needed for repairs.
  7. Ensure all repairs meet compliance and quality standards.
  8. Properly escalate product issues.
  9. Respond to written and verbal communication requests.
  10. Participate in the department 5S program.
  11. Accurately report on work performed.
  12. Follow OSHA and safety regulations.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities for Product Repair Technician II
  1. Identify parts and materials for complex repairs.
  2. Complete repairs on all models effectively.
  3. Perform external engine repairs on all models.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience repairing mechanical products in a manufacturing environment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Intermediate PC skills including ERP systems, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Understanding of repair processes.
  • Basic reading, math, manufacturing assembly, and testing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate a professional work ethic.
Physical Demands

The role requires talking, hearing, manual manipulation, standing, walking, occasional stooping, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. It involves computer-based work with periods of sitting and close focus, with occasional travel.
