Job Description

The Product Quality Lab role is essential in ensuring the production of quality products by implementing proper standards and physical test requirements. Your experience may make you a perfect fit for our team at our St. Louis, MO plant. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring coatings are applied within specifications and optimizing paint usage through daily audits.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct physical quality testing.
2. Maintain paint standard files.
3. Maintain physical test files.
4. Perform various in-house quality control audits and testing methods.
5. Audit daily paint usage.
6. Audit daily paint DF control.
7. Audit color and gloss trending.
8. Review requested paint vendor changes on specific coatings.
9. Monitor coating film thickness and conversion coating weights during production.
10. Assist as a backup to the manufacturing line.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess great attention to detail, knowledge of regulatory, legal, or requirement standards, and maintain timely and concise records. Additionally, the following are required:

1. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with production workers, management, and vendors.
2. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet critical deadlines.
3. Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
4. Ability to work various shifts in a plant environment.
