Job summary

Reynolds American Inc. seeks a Product Quality Tester in Tobacoville, NC to perform visual and physical inspections and quality audits, ensuring materials meet specifications. You will report non-conformances and support calibration monitoring and analytical sampling.

The role requires strong data analysis, independent decision-making, and clear written/oral communication. FDA training and TPMP knowledge will be part of the ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong data analyzing and trending skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Willingness and ability to learn and perform various duties.
• Demonstrated understanding of computer applications, systems and programs.
• Demonstrated knowledge of standard Quality guidelines and procedures.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Experience with LIMS, VIDES, SAP, MES, and Pilgrim.
• Knowledge of TPMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and physical inspections to ensure proper materials are used.
• Conduct quality audits on the required shift to verify products meet specifications.
• Report non-conformances via Quality Control reports.
• Perform pack moisture testing and report results including out-of-specs.
• Monitor calibrations and report negative trends for corrective action daily.
• Operate quality systems such as LIMS, VIDES, MES, Pilgrim and SAP.
• Collect samples for analytical testing as required.
• Communicate product non-conformances to Management.
