Job Description

Position Summary:

Reporting to our Product Quality Manager, you will manage a team of product quality engineers and technicians responsible for supporting sustaining engineering activities and customer issue resolution. Our role in sustaining engineering is to ensure we have the right quality processes and risk mitigation actions in place, leading to maintaining and improving the quality of our products. You can make significant impacts on product quality by collaborating with leadership across Quality, Engineering, Product Management, Business, and Operations.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of experienced product quality engineers through the full product quality lifecycle.
  • Support the team in developing, evaluating, and applying technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products.
  • Seek an experienced people manager to help grow the team.
  • Support team activities to ensure compliance with company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations.
  • Perform analysis and identify trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials, and raw materials, and recommend corrective actions, including oversight of applicable RCFA labs.
  • Experience with People Management, Customer Issue Management, Risk and Compliance, Analytics and Data Management, Product/Process Development, Testing, Safety, and Security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar technical field.
  • Master's degree in a related technical field is desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product development and quality management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with different levels of staff across functional boundaries.
  • Rockwell Automation’s hybrid policy expects employees to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.
