Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
• Experience in embedded systems within academic or professional settings.
• Proficiency in Python, C, or similar languages for test automation and debugging.
• Hands-on experience with electrical debugging tools such as oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers.
• Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to develop or use agentic solutions proficiently for day-to-day operations.

Position Overview

As a Qualification Engineer, you will direct the validation and certification of SSD or next-generation system products through detailed testing and analysis. This role requires drafting qualification plans, resolving failures, and advancing process improvements while working closely with various engineering teams and AI-assisted tools within the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of computer architecture and/or NAND and/or SSD storage technologies.
• Experience developing and accomplishing qualification plans for high-performance hardware.
• Knowledge of industry standards including ISO regulations and GMP compliance.
• Background in system-level validation, test automation, and statistical data analysis.
• Established experience in advancing process efficiency within manufacturing or QA contexts.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$125,000.00 - $213,000.00 a year

Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
