Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline or technical field with 2 years of quality or electrical manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years in quality or manufacturing engineering preferred.
• ASQ CQA or CQE certification and/or Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Strong problem solving, statistical analysis, and quality auditing skills.

Responsibilities

• Pinpoint production inefficiencies to reduce defect rates and use analytical tools to identify root causes.
• Works with cross-functional teams to prioritize key site projects and determine appropriate resources and timing; integrate activities using quality principles such as lean Six Sigma with Quality Management System activities such as Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) and Quality Improvements to assure effectiveness and compliance to customer and regulatory requirements.
• Apply data analysis tools such as, but not limited to six sigma, to optimize the production line, minimize variances, and prevent non-conformance.
• Reports significant issues or developments identified during Quality activities and provides recommended process improvements to management.
• Becomes proficient in the various workflow systems used at First Quality, including MES, quality data collection systems (SFC) and understands how the systems are integrated within the manufacturing line.
• Process and SFC abnormality handling, quality abnormality data collection, cargo hold/unlock, MIL follow-up. Handle FQA SW related issues and fix SFC issue.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline or a technical field with 2 years of quality or electrical manufacturing experience required

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Three or more years in quality or manufacturing engineering strongly preferred

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• 1. Highly qualified candidates would have an advanced degree in Analytics and/or ASQ CQA or CQE certification, and/or Lean or Six Sigma certification
• 2. Experience in technical problem solving, statistical analysis, and quality auditing preferred.
• 3. Good quality awareness and interpersonal communication skills
• 4. Strong knowledge of MS-Office products
