Job summary

Dover, a global manufacturer, is seeking a Support 2 for our production facilities. You will set up, calibrate, and operate machines used in production processes, following diagrams or verbal instructions and ensuring parts meet tolerances.

The role requires basic knowledge of procedures and tools gained through work experience, with routine supervision. You will help with routine maintenance, corrective actions, and may assist with CNC programming as needed.

Responsible for the set-up, calibration, and operation of machines used in production processes. Works from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models. Inspects machining operations and finished product against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools. Determines and corrects more complex machine malfunctions. Performs routine maintenance and cleaning. May make calculations as well as assist with numeric controlled programming..

A Support 2 requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Responsibilities typically include: Works under moderate supervision.. Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.
