Job description

We are looking for an experienced Product and Project Manager to lead software development projects from start to finish. As PM, you will be responsible for the success of your assigned projects, shifting focus from high level strategy and product definition to the details of day to day project management, depending on the specific needs of the client and the project.

As PM, you will be the primary bridge between our clients and our engineering teams. Your mission is to ensure that every project not only crosses the finish line but delivers true value to the Customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Ownership: Take full accountability for a project’s success, from the initial discovery phase to final delivery. You may join projects at different stages of the project’s life-cycle, and you must be comfortable in all of them.

  • Client Partnership: Serve as the main point of contact, maintaining constant, transparent communication to align expectations and build long-term trust.

  • Backlog Management and Requirement definition: Own the product backlog. This includes writing high-quality User Stories, prioritizing work, and estimating tasks in partnership with the developers and tech leads, and serving as the to-to resource for team questions.

  • Liaison & Interpretation: Work closely with Tech Leads and developers to translate client "wants" into product requirements, ensuring the team is always focused on the highest-value features and that they understand perfectly what needs to be done and why it needs to be done.

  • Strategy & Roadmapping: Define the "What" and manage the "When." You will create and execute product strategies and project timelines that lead to successful completions, adapted to each project and Customer.

  • Discovery: Lead Product Discovery sessions to interpret and understand what the client needs and transform these needs into actionable, well-defined development items.

    • Reporting & Risk Mitigation: Provide clear status reports to management. You are expected to interpret performance data, identify potential risks early, and actively remove blockers.

What We Are Looking For
  • Hybrid Mindset: You are comfortable shifting between high-level product vision and the granular details of project management.

  • Expert Communicator: You possess professional-level English (written and verbal) and can facilitate smooth communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Critical Thinker: You are a natural problem-solver who seeks to understand the underlying needs of a project rather than just checking boxes.

  • Software Literacy: You have a general understanding of software development. You don’t need to be a coder, but you should know enough to navigate a technical project and have meaningful conversations with developers.

  • AI-Curious & Hands-On: You are proactive about incorporating AI tools into your daily workflow.

  • Full-Time Dedication: You have the availability and commitment to fully immerse yourself in your projects and support your team.

Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years in Product or Project Management roles within the software industry.

  • Methodologies: Well-versed in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Nice to Have: Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) or other related certifications, experience with Product Design, coding experience.

  • Tools: Mastery of Jira for story writing and task management.

  • Analytics: Experience using data and analytics tools to validate assumptions and track team and project performance metrics.
