Job summary

AIIR Products is seeking a Product Program Manager to drive cross-functional execution for strategic initiatives across Product, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Customer Support. The role emphasizes PMO leadership (70%) and Associate Product Manager support (30%), with a pathway to senior program leadership or dedicated Product Manager roles.

The role features a hybrid work mode at a direct-hire, full-time level, with opportunities to lead NPI

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, Product Management, Information Systems.
  • Five or more years of progressive experience in project management, program management, PMO, product operations, engineering program management, business operations, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through implementation using a rigorous stage-gate product development process.
  • Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities, shared resources, and significant interdependencies.
  • Strong working knowledge of project planning, risk management, change control, governance, and executive reporting.
  • Ability to influence and drive accountability without direct authority.
  • Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and project management platforms such as Monday.com, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Planner, Asana, Jira.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives from charter development through implementation and closeout.
  • Define scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, resource needs, decision rights, and communication plans.
  • Translate strategic priorities into executable workplans with clear owners, dependencies, and success measures.
  • Coordinate activities across Product, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Support.
  • Drive timely decisions, remove obstacles, and escalate unresolved issues with clear options and recommendations.
  • Manage multiple concurrent programs while maintaining alignment with business priorities and available resources.
  • Establish and maintain practical project governance standards, templates, stage reviews, and operating cadences.
  • Manage project intake and support portfolio prioritization based on strategic value, urgency, capacity, risk, and financial impact.
  • Maintain a centralized view of active initiatives, key milestones, project health, resource constraints, and inter dependencies.
  • Create and maintain project charters, integrated schedules, RAID logs, decision logs, action trackers, and change controls.
  • Facilitate weekly project reviews, monthly portfolio reviews, and executive steering committee meetings.
  • Ensure decisions, commitments, and action items are documented, assigned, and driven to closure.
  • Lead NPI programs from concept through commercialization.
  • Coordinate Engineering, Product, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Manage phase-gates, prototypes, testing, sourcing, compliance, cost, and launch readiness.
  • Track scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risks to ensure successful launches.
  • Lead post-launch reviews and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Define mitigation plans, owners, and timelines.
  • Assess and communicate impacts of scope, cost, schedule, and resource changes.
  • Escalate critical decisions with clear, fact-based recommendations.
  • Maintain effective change control while enabling business agility.

Position Summary

The Product Program Manager is the primary driver of cross-functional execution for strategic business and new product initiatives. The role brings structure, visibility, and accountability to complex programs spanning Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Support. Approximately 70% of the role is dedicated to PMO and project management leadership, including portfolio governance, program planning, risk management, executive reporting, and New Product Introduction (NPI) execution. The remaining 30% supports Product Management through market intelligence, voice-of-customer activities, requirements development, roadmap planning, and commercialization support. The successful candidate will be an experienced project leader who can influence without direct authority, communicate effectively with executives and functional teams, and apply a customer- and market-oriented product mindset. The role offers a potential career path toward either senior program leadership or a dedicated Product Manager position.

Market & Competitive Intelligence
  • Research market, competitors, technology, and industry trends.
  • Provide actionable insights on pricing, features, opportunities, and risks.
  • Monitor emerging customer needs, technologies, standards, and market developments that may create opportunities or risks.
Voice of Customer & Requirements
  • Gather customer and channel feedback to identify needs and opportunities.
  • Support PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirement alignment.
  • Assist with Product Requirements Documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability between customer needs and program deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and commercial stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve gaps or conflicts.
Business Cases, Launch & Performance
  • Business Cases, Launch & Product Performance Coordinate launch-readiness plans across Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Quality, Service, and Customer Support.
  • Support development of internal product training, sales-enablement inputs, launch communications, and customer-facing readiness materials.
  • Support business cases, launch readiness, training, and sales enablement.
  • Track adoption, customer feedback, quality, and post-launch performance.

  • Experience with ERP, CRM, PLM, business intelligence, and portfolio management systems.
  • Experience conducting market research, competitive analysis, voice-of-customer work, or business case development.
  • Familiarity with product certification, regulatory compliance, sourcing, manufacturing readiness, and commercialization processes.
