About the Opportunity:

GSG is seeking a Product / Program Lead for our client in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead solution discovery and design, including planning and managing the product roadmap.
• Connect stories to epics and sprint planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Engage productively with business line owners and users, testing stories and providing professional solution engagement.
• Collaborate closely with the engineering team on planning and product design.
• Provide regular status reporting, effectively communicating progress and challenges.
• Lead and guide the team in agile practices, working closely with an Agile Coach and Scrum Master.
• Define the vision, roadmap, and OKRs, while managing stakeholder expectations.
• Remove barriers and facilitate communication across different lines of business.
• Coach the team in creating and refining user stories, user story mapping, and backlog management.
• Utilize Agile/Scrum tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Mural, with proficiency in Jira.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in Product Ownership/Management, preferably in financial services, with experience in lending or wealth management.
• Demonstrated experience in leading software development efforts, particularly in evolving product models.
• Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, with experience in Jira, Confluence, and Mural.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering results in a dynamic environment.
• Previous reporting experience is advantageous.
• Professional eloquence and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
