Full-Time – Non-Exempt – Monday through Friday

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Product Pricing Coordinator, you are responsible for the administrative day-to-day pricing activities, analyzing market trends, communicating pricing strategies, assisting with sales support related to pricing, and providing training on pricing procedures. You will have face-to-face interactions with internal stakeholders and vendors as well as regularly responding to inquiries to ensure accurate pricing resolution by working collaboratively with leadership, vendors, sales, purchasing, and accounting teams in a timely manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ownership of pricing databases to ensure accurate and current pricing through regular maintenance.
• Utilize pricing software and ERP systems to input and manage pricing information troubleshooting system errors with associated parties.
• Manage, gain approval, and perform pricing changes across systems.
• Analyze historical sales trends and market conditions to provide insights / recommendations.
• Monitor competitors to identify opportunities or risks.
• Work closely with the sales and procurement teams to align pricing with customer and regional segments.
• Coordinate and implement discounts, promotions, and special pricing agreements tracking effectiveness of promotions for recommended improvements.
• Ensure all pricing programs align with regulatory, strategy, and company policies conducting audits to resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate price changes across channels including relevant stakeholders, internal departments and customers.
• Respond to inquiries from customers and internal teams regarding pricing issues or disputes providing guidance to ensure clear understanding.

BUYING RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review MRP by supplier to determine purchase needs to fulfill customer orders and replenish stock.
• Enter Purchase Orders for assigned accounts and back-up as required.
• Maintain an accurate item master, Safety Data Sheets and Technical Data Sheets in Syspro.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/EXPECTATIONS:

• 3+ years related experience and/or training in a distribution environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures related to pricing programs.
• High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• Proficient in MS Office, including Word and Excel
• Ability to learn internal database and software systems
• Experience with order entry in an ERP system, Syspro experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Lifting up to 20lbs. Constant bending, sitting, stooping, reaching, typing and other office related work. This role also works routinely in the store/warehouse area.

Pay

In accordance with California’s labor code, the expected salary/hourly range for this position is between $23.00 to $27.00 per hour. A new hire’s actual pay will be determined based on experience, skillset, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
