Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Product Portfolio Manager – RF Products to connect customer needs with product development and drive profitability across the catalog of products. This role manages the full product lifecycle, from strategy to execution, collaborating with engineering, sales, supply chain, production to deliver customer-focused solutions. The position involves defining product roadmaps, supporting go-to-market plans, guiding pricing strategies, and ensuring responsive customer support. Success requires strong communication skills, technical familiarity with RF/Microwave technologies, experience in the defense/DoD industry, and the ability to balance big-picture vision with detailed execution.

Essential Functions

  • Manage the full product lifecycle from strategic planning to tactical execution.
  • Define and maintain product road maps and release requirements in collaboration with engineering.
  • Translate customer and market requirements into product definitions through research and sales/business development input.
  • Support sales teams and engineering teams with quotations, order acceptance, and customer responsiveness for entire catalog of products.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to shape positioning, marketing communication, and company-wide go-to-market plans.
  • Align Development teams on product definitions and positioning.
  • Identify and pursue partnership opportunities.
  • Guide product pricing, cost analysis, BOM lifecycle planning, and global product list updates to ensure long-term profitability.
  • Coordinate with supply chain on BOM, costing, lead times, and lifecycle planning.
  • Identify potential partner relationships and stay current with market trends to provide innovative solutions.
  • You must be an exceptional communicator -- adept at both written and oral communication and comfortable presenting to customers and senior management

Experience and Skills
  • Active DoD Security Clearance
  • Technical familiarity with RF microwave solutions.
  • Experience doing business with the DoD, Primes and Tier 3+ customers
  • Understanding and experience in product management and product marketing industry practices
  • Understanding of defense industry practices and procedures preferred
  • Understanding of electronics design, manufacturing operations, inventory management and product life cycle management principles.
  • Ability to interact with multi-disciplined professionals to understand and make necessary tradeoffs and decisions

  • Solid organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to travel to customer and non-customer sites in North America and Europe (up to 10%)
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with 8-10+ years of relevant experience
