Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a Product Owner to define the product vision and manage roadmaps for IT applications in Fort Worth, TX. This role aligns with enterprise architecture and business objectives, serving as the main liaison among engineering, architecture, and stakeholders.

You will lead backlog refinement, translate feedback into technical solutions, and drive data-driven improvements using KPIs and OKRs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, math, CS, economics, engineering, or related field.
  • 1–3 years with Adobe products or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience with SQL and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Experience managing analytic and/or development projects.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Product Owner

Job Duration: 4 months with possible ext till next year end

Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision. Develop and manage roadmaps for IT applications, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, business objectives, and long-term sustainability.
  • Operate as the primary liaison between engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure alignment across teams.
  • Lead backlog refinement and prioritization for technical features, application enhancements, and infrastructure capabilities. Balance technical debt, scalability, and business value.
  • Gather insights from internal users and stakeholders to identify pain points and opportunities to translate feedback into actionable technical solutions.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, and design teams to ensure successful delivery of technical products and facilitate decision-making and remove roadblocks.
  • Define and track product KPIs and OKRs that measure application performance, reliability, and business impact. Use data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Drive innovation in technical product offerings.
  • Ensure technical products align with architectural standards, enterprise priorities, and long-term strategic goals. Make trade-offs that optimize for scalability and sustainability.
All You'll Need for Success
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience with Adobe products, or similar analytics tools, preferably in implementation capacity.
  • Experience with SQL and JavaScript is a plus.
  • Experience managing analytic and/or development projects.
Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
  • MS in Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with analytics tools including Adobe Analytics/Tealium/Celebrus.
  • Experience with iOS and Android SDKs.
  • Proficient knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and JSON.
  • Experience with Agile development and associated ceremonies.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities/projects on strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Outstanding analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to tailor your approach to different audiences.
  • The ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders and convey technical information in a clear and engaging way.
