Role Overview

Our Product Owner establishes the vision for an Agile team, manages the team backlog, and contributes to team quality. This role drives predictable portfolio delivery to accelerate value for our customers. The ideal candidate is experienced in requirement elicitation, Agile story writing, backlog management, and journey mapping.

Responsibilities

1. Identify, communicate, and decompose business requirements into user stories.
2. Define requirements with acceptance criteria.
3. Prioritize stories to maximize business value.
4. Accept user stories as done during iterations.
5. Collaborate with Product Management to achieve goals.
6. Participate in Agile ceremonies.
7. Apply Agile principles effectively across teams and stakeholders.
8. Utilize estimation and prioritization tools like WSJF.
9. Make decisions on functionality and priority to deliver value.
10. Use personas, empathy maps, journey maps, and story maps to guide design and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Manager.
• SAFe Product Owner certification.
• Strong technical and system thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Confluence, JIRA, and related tools.
• Experience in user experience management.
• Excellent communication and requirement elicitation skills.
• Self-driven with strong organizational skills.
