TEKsystems is seeking a hands-on Product Owner with strong technical background for a contract role based out of Charlotte, NC. The candidate should have 5+ years of PO experience in payments, H2H, and file handling, with familiarity with API payloads and XML file formats.

This hybrid role requires the ability to read technical designs, translate them into clear requirements, and collaborate across offshore teams and UK leads. W-2 employment and competitive hourly pay are provided.

Would like them to have 5-10 years experience if possible but minimum five years.

Technical PO is even better. Financial center experience as well.

W-2 - Charlotte Only

Product Owner Technical Product Owner:

Payments experience a must minimum five years PO experience, specifically H2H and files, familiar with file formats, fields and how to update file. PAIN is a plus.

Hands on testing with files and file formats XML 113 etc

Able to read and understand technical designs

Must have strong technical knowledge

Understand and hands on with APIs Building a payload is a plus

Needs to understand complex technical designs and be able to translate them into requirements

May have to work earlier schedule as this team leads are in UK and offshore (maybe 6 am meetings on some days)

Must be a hands on Product Owner (testing in system)

Product Owner responsible for maximizing the value for a product.

Defines the vision and roadmap for the product, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team.

Works closely with stakeholders to understand their needs, and with the Product Manager in a scaled Agile model to ensure there is alignment.

Possess a working knowledge of the product, and basic understanding of the business or technology domain.

With some guidance, creates the vision and roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain.

Communicates the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team.

Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs and problems.

Creates and prioritizes work for one team. Learning to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

With some guidance, creates and prioritizes stories in the product backlog.

Refines stories with the team to ensure there are enough ready stories to load the next 1-2 sprints.

Reviews and accepts stories and is empowered to make on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements.

Works in partnership with the team to ensure that optimum value is obtained through technology and through an advanced understanding of the business. Individual contributor.

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
