Job summary

AspenTech in the United States is seeking a mid level Product Owner for the Manufacturing and Supply Chain (MSC) group to help refinery and petrochemical customers optimize their value chain. You will blend strong software development, mathematical modeling, and optimization with a product‑oriented mindset.

You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Product Owners, and Product Designers to help define features, use cases, and product workflows, and ensure the development team delivers

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience with SAFe Agile or similar Agile frameworks.
• Experience in software modeling, control and optimization for chemicals, oil & gas, and/or refining processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and support new and existing MSC software features.
• Provide technical leadership for modeling and optimization projects.
• Collaborate with Product Management to define feature requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Translate customer workflows into practical software solutions and ensure feasibility.
