What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Define and prioritize a team backlog of user stories, including acceptance criteria
- Analyze cross-functional business processes and define integrated user stories using industry-standard techniques
- Manage dependencies and shifting priorities across sprints and Program Increments (PIs)
- Write epics, features, user stories, and defects in Jira Cloud/Align
- Participate in Agile Release Train and Scrum Team ceremonies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5-10 years of experience as a Product Owner
- Strong understanding of agile methodology and frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban)
- Proficiency in agile tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent IT delivery skillset/training/experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Point of Sale (POS) systems, particularly Oracle Xstore
- Knowledge of Payment Card Industry standards
- Familiarity with Mainframe, Cobol, JCL, and IMS\DB2
- Understanding of the retail industry
- Knowledge of DevOps and security best practices
