Job summary

Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies in the United States is seeking a Product Owner to lead the design, delivery, and enablement of a portal product (e.g. ASC).

You will ensure a consistent design and capabilities framework while collaborating with stakeholders, analytics teams, and development partners to drive operational excellence and measurable outcomes. Reporting to the VP, Head of Product Management, you will guide the product roadmap, write clear requirements and acceptance

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product management/product owner and/or development or relevant experience.
• Experience in property & casualty insurance is a plus.
• Strong communication skills including oral, written and presentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine best solutions for capability enablement.
• Own the product vision, roadmap and backlog to deliver value to stakeholders.
• Translate roadmap features into well-defined requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize product needs based on stakeholder and development input.
• Serve as the primary contact for product and related processes.
• Participate in planning, development, testing and deployment stages.
• Ensure consistent design and implementation methodology for the capability.
