Overview

The Product Owner, Gas Project Intelligence will own the product that traders, marketers, and project developers use to know what is coming online, and when. Project Intelligence (PI) delivers infrastructure timing intelligence for gas and LNG markets through four layers: an interactive analytics platform, project alerts delivered within one to two hours of critical events, a litigation tracker, and direct analyst support. PI covers more than 150 pipeline and LNG projects, and its in-service forecasts consistently beat developer guidance.

Demand for PI is growing quickly. With over 150 proposed projects that would double U.S. gas pipeline capacity, customers want forecasts, alerts, and data they can act on faster and plug directly into their own systems. Your job is to decide what we build next, make sure we build it well, and prove it moves customer outcomes and Arbo’s financial goals.

You will report to the VP of Data and Product as a member of the Product team and work daily with gas infrastructure Intelligence analysts, data scientists, engineers, and the commercial team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an entrepreneurial product leader to own a market-moving data product at a moment when energy infrastructure investment is surging.

Responsibilities
Product Ownership
  • Own the PI vision, roadmap, and backlog across the analytics platform, alerts, litigation tracker, and data integrations.
  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritize; lead sprint planning, reviews, and releases with engineering in Jira and Confluence.
  • Define and track product OKRs for forecast accuracy, alert timeliness, usage, adoption, and retention using tools such as Amplitude.
  • Move ideas from experiment to prototype to product through Arbo’s end-to-end new product development process.
Forecasting, Data, and Integrations
  • Lead analyst, product teams to turn ISD forecasting methodology and milestone benchmarking into scalable, measurable product features.
  • Define requirements for cost, schedule, and in-service date modeling and for litigation analytics built on structured NEPA-related project litigation data.
  • Specify PI data feeds and integrations into customers’ data lakes, cloud platforms, and BI tools so Arbo data lands in their middle office and commercial decision support systems.
  • Track forecast accuracy against developer guidance and public consensus, and use it to guide model and data investments.

  • Define the human review and quality standards that keep AI-enhanced products trustworthy enough for customers’ systems of record.
Customer and Commercial Partnership
  • Lead product discovery with traders, marketers, originators, and developers, and capture voice-of-customer from onboarding, ArboIQ engagements, and Deal Scrums.
