HID Global is seeking a Product Owner for BLE/LF RTLS tags based in Eden Prairie, MN, to drive hardware-centric product features from concept to market. IDT is creating trusted identities for IoT applications through Smart Components and Enabling Services. HID’s Identification Technologies powers the trusted identities of the world’s people, places and things through smart components and cloud services.
The position will be responsible for product ownership of real-time location services (RTLS) tags using (but not limited to) Bluetooth low-energy (BLE) and low-frequency (LF) radio technologies. This includes tags that interact with fixed infrastructure (gateways / exciters) and mobile devices, and are used with cloud solutions.
The role includes gathering market requirements for RTLS use‑cases in industrial and healthcare applications, converting these requirements into features for development teams, and working with the development teams to build these features and bring them to market. The role also participates in program increment planning (feature generation, value‑ranking, prioritization, and resource allocation). The suitable candidate will work with other product owners and product managers to drive organizational improvements, especially in the area of Agile frameworks, development value streams, and operational value streams.
The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range does not account for geographic differentials based on the location where the position may be filled. At HID, it is uncommon for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the range. Final compensation decisions depend on the specific facts and circumstances of each case.
The base salary in the United States is $120,000 to $130,000.
