Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Product Owner to support an Agile engineering team. The Product Owner will serve as the primary link between customer and business needs and the development team, ensuring understanding of what needs to be built, why it matters, and what should be worked on next.

You will own the team's day-to-day backlog, translate requirements into clear tasks, establish priorities, and clarify requirements throughout development, accepting completed work when it meets expectations.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working directly with software or engineering teams.
• Strong customer/stakeholder communication.
• Active clearance is required or preferred.

The Product Owner will serve as the primary link between customer and business needs and the development team, ensuring the team understands what needs to be built, why it matters, and what should be worked on next. This person will own the team's day-to-day backlog, translate program and customer requirements into clear, actionable work, establish priorities, clarify requirements throughout development, and accept completed work when it meets established expectations.

The Product Owner will work closely with the Product Manager, Scrum Master, engineering leads, software developers, systems engineers, and other program stakeholders to keep the team aligned on priorities and delivering the highest-value capabilities.
