Job summary

ArbiterSports is seeking a Product Owner to drive the product backlog for SaaS offerings and leverage AI to enhance decision-making and productivity. You will collaborate with engineering, design, operations, and customer success to align priorities with customer value.

You will guide the team through roadmap execution, manage risks, and push for continuous improvement using data and AI insights to deliver better outcomes for clients and stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog according to customer value, business impact, and strategic objectives.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate backlog refinement, requirements creation, customer research synthesis, acceptance criteria definition, and team communication.
• Lead the development team in executing roadmap priorities and achieving sprint and release goals.
• Forecast release dates, communicate progress, and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
• Resolve impediments impacting successful completion of team objectives.
• Prioritize and coordinate resolution of defects impacting customer experience.
• Ensure the team has a healthy backlog and clear priorities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related questions from development, support, implementation, and business stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve team effectiveness through automation, AI-assisted workflows, and continuous improvement.
• Stay current on evolving customer needs, product practices, and emerging technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience working in SaaS software organizations.
• Experience delivering products through iterative software development practices.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms to improve productivity and decision-making.
• Demonstrated use of AI to improve product delivery, customer outcomes, or operational efficiency.
• Experience supporting or delivering AI-enabled product capabilities.
