Job Description:
  • Responsible for defining Stories and prioritizing the Team / Product Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities, while maintaining conceptual and technical integrity of the Features or components for with the team is responsible.
  • Ability to identify Epic and stories.
  • Experienced in working with Scrum team and business closely.
  • Experience of implementation of Gen AI use case is mandatory.
Defines Vision and Platform Needs:
  • Owns the working backwards documents for feature releases
  • Makes use of research, user studies, metrics, and competitive analysis to understand the platform and business needs for a platform product
  • Compares features for competitive review to inform prioritization within a platform product release
  • Identifies innovations or performs "test and learn" experiments to create features that add more business and customer value for a platform product
  • Participates with the business in customer research to inform platform product feature needs.
Technical Product Portfolio Management:
  • Contributes near-term input (quarterly) for the platform product portfolio and roadmap
  • Makes trade-off decisions on platform product features
  • Exhibits expertise within platform feature area and coordinates with interdependent teams.
Platform Product Planning & Development:
  • Develops business and platform requirements for either one platform component of a large platform product or a narrow product
  • Sets the direction for the platform design of assigned products
  • Determines release goals for a narrow platform product or a component of a large product, prioritizes features according to business and platform product, and adjusts throughout the implementation as needed
  • Continuously monitors feature development through a bug catalog at the platform product level
  • Reviews the product demo with the development team against the acceptance criteria for his / her component of a product
  • Prepares platform product documentation, ensuring features and documentation are clear and easily consumable by other engineering teams.
  • Creates and monitors KPIs for assigned product features
  • For any issues, assesses the alternatives to resolve ("path to green") and builds a plan for resolution
Launch:
  • Executes the platform GTM plan, monitors the effect of the plan and reports on it
  • Owns and delivers on post-launch reviews and customer feedback, drives the associated actions, and incorporates feedback into the future launch plans
Operate:
  • Develops strategic business and customer engagement plan and drives its execution
  • Cultivates relationships with key industry thought leaders to increase platform product success in the market segment
  • Leads operational platform product strategy across an entire portfolio and works with other platform product teams to ensure strategies are aligned
  • Represents the team in executive operational reviews and drives follow-through on issues identified
  • Develops strategies to launch platform products into new market segments, particularly where significant modifications are expected
  • Helps leadership craft responses for escalations of customer / business facing product issues
  • Identifies new controls and leverage points to accelerate growth
