Product Owner
Location: Hybrid in Southlake TX or Lone Tree, CO
Contract: 12-18 months (Potential to convert)
Rate Range: $62/hour-$65+/hour The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
The Product Owner will coordinate user experience efforts with team members and cross-functional business partners including Agile Scrum teams. The Product Owner will oversee implementation of a product roadmap that will enhance advised and managed investing offerings.
Role
- Develop a deep understanding of our users and leverage data in the design of new processes and interactions to enhance the overall user experience
- Analyze existing and future internal tools (proprietary and third party) and collaborate on strategies for creating a holistic and efficient representative desktop for wealth management
- Lead product discovery activities and work with UX partners to design experiences
- Collaborate with other Product Owners in Digital Wealth Platforms and technology leads and architects
- Build a product roadmap to articulate and drive the priorities
- Create a release plan in coordination with the scrum team and other lines of business
- Manage development efforts and technology scrum teams: writing user stories, refining the backlog, and working with User Experience designers
- Define test plans and acceptance criteria and oversee end to end testing
- Provide timely and proactive production support to users
What you’ll have:
- Strong digital product management skills including experience with design thinking and client journeys
- Experience working with User Experience designers and implementing digital experiences using Agile development practices leading multiple teams as Product Owner
- Self-starter with strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills
- A positive attitude, solid work ethic, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to make decisions and progress in the face of ambiguous and at times overlapping priorities
- High level of comfort with technology
- 5-7 years of product management / product development within financial services preferred
- Experience with Wealth Management is preferred
- Bachelor and post graduate degrees are a plus
