Job summary

Swipejobs is expanding its Privacy Operations team to strengthen a growing enterprise privacy program, focusing on privacy-by-design and data-sharing governance. As Product Owner you will lead product vision, roadmaps, user stories, stakeholder engagement, and implementation activities for a third-party data-sharing governance platform, ensuring visibility into controls, risks, and security agreements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Product Owner for privacy and data governance technology initiatives.
• Lead internal business and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Partner with vendors, technology teams, business stakeholders, and other key partners.
• Establish project work plans, facilitate meetings, assign and track tasks, and develop project status reports.
• Monitor project activity, budgets, financials, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain business requirements, stakeholder lists, risk registers, project plans, and other documentation.
• Develop product vision and roadmaps, user stories, product requirements, end-user guides, and release notes.
• Develop communication strategies and materials to proactively engage stakeholders, gather input, build awareness, and drive alignment.
• Conduct research and benchmarking to stay current on privacy legislation, industry trends, and best practices.
• Work with privacy, data governance, risk, compliance, business, and technical teams to support program objectives.
• Develop detailed test plans and test cases and participate in testing of business processes and technology changes.
• Document testing results and work with business and technical teams to resolve issues.
• Support a customer-focused culture and effectively address the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage vendors and assigned team members, set expectations, monitor performance, and ensure deliverables.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required

Job description

The Privacy Operations team supports a growing enterprise privacy program focused on customer expectations, risk management, and evolving legal and regulatory requirements surrounding the collection, storage, processing, and sharing of personal data. This role will work closely with business and technology teams to help establish and maintain a strong privacy-by-design culture. The Product Owner will be responsible for product and feature development, prioritization, stakeholder engagement, and implementation activities related to a third-party data-sharing governance platform. The goal is to create a comprehensive inventory of third-party data-sharing activities involving sensitive data while improving visibility into controls, risks, security agreements, and other relevant information.
