Immediate need for a talented Product Owner. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is in Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid).

PR Range: $55-60 /hr. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand and define Treasury data and business requirements.
• Perform requirements analysis, elicitation, gathering, and documentation.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Break down complex requirements into manageable stories and prioritize them based on business value.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong relationships across business and technology teams.
• Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders, product teams, developers, and other Agile team members.
• Communicate project/product status, dependencies, issues, and risks to relevant stakeholders.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog using Jira.
• Ensure requirements are clearly understood and aligned with business objectives.
• Apply strong knowledge of payments and Treasury operations to support product and data initiatives.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Strong business knowledge around Payments
• Strong hands-on experience with Agile methodology
• Strong experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and requirements elicitation.
• Strong ability to analyze business needs and translate them into detailed requirements and user stories.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong business knowledge and hands-on experience in Payments.
• Strong understanding of Treasury products, including:
• Payments
• Deposits
• Trade Finance
• Liquidity Management
• Strong hands-on experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience working with Treasury data and understanding data requirements.
• Experience using Jira for backlog and story management.
• Ability to communicate product/project status, risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
• Excellent requirements gathering and elicitation capabilities.
• Ability to break down complex requirements into clear user stories.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate status, risks, issues, and dependencies effectively.
• Strong understanding of Treasury products and business processes.
