Please be sure to check email regularly for information regarding our employment process.**Position Summary:**The primary responsibilities of the Product Owner will encompass activities associated with the following high-level objectives: serve as the team’s “voice of the customer”; manage and prioritize the team’s backlog; and support the team on a day-to-day basis in their delivery of committed business value. This position will also lead a team of Product Owners with varying degrees of experience, acting as a champion of Resolution Life Agile Ways of Working and focusing on developing and growing this team of Product Owners in their craft.Product Owner Individual Contributor Responsibilities:* Own team/product backlog, including prioritization and refinement; make trade-off decisions to maximize value.* Effectively manage a backlog of deliverables and capabilities as well as 'test and learn'/experimentation targeted at defining/refining future deliverables, measuring performance and adjusting the overall roadmap of deliverables as needed.* Set ambitious and clear strategy, develop comprehensive product vision, and translate the vision into specific feature strategies and roadmaps. Communicate strategy effectively to key stakeholders and team members.* Act as voice of the customer; have a deep understanding of and respond to customer feedback, ensuring needs and requirements are clearly defined; ensure teamwork product meets defined acceptance criteria.* Work as the scrum-master to facilitate all relevant agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint demos, and retrospectives in an efficient and effective way.* Monitor and review team metrics to inform decisions and increase team performance.* Work in collaboration with other teams, business functions, and third-party vendors to agree, align, sequence and re-plan work in a dynamic, changing environment.* Support scaled agile ceremonies that enable cross-team prioritization, dependency management, and alignment with company strategy.* Optimize the flow of value by setting objectives and key results (OKRs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for teams and solutions.* Inform and participate in business readiness; understand the impact of change, implement the approach to manage adoption and mitigate resistance.* Provide feedback on work-in-progress, clarify requirements, and contribute to removing roadblocks or impediments; Look for opportunities for continuous team and process improvement.* Partner with Leads and peers to effectively communicate resources required to achieve defined business outcomes.People Management and Development Responsibilities:* Direct management responsibility for a team of Product Owners.* Develop standards, identify new approaches and train other Product Owners to ensure alignment and consistency in ways of working.* Foster an innovative, inclusive and diverse team environment, promoting positive team culture, encouraging collaboration and self-organization.* Manage Product Owner team resource capacity and demand.* Partner with Agile Coaches to drive adoption and maturity of Resolution Life Agile Ways of Working across the enterprise to ensure realization of business and customer value.**Minimum Requirements**:* Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or closely related field.* Five (5) years of progressive experience in the offered role or similar role involving Agile product management within the insurance industry, including at least **two years** of direct people management experience.* Scrum Master and Project Management Professional (PMP) Certifications.* Advanced working knowledge of complex software/product development processes; Vantage; Cobol; DB2; VSAM; Power BI; and AWS.* Reporting to West Chester, PA –Telecommuting permitted from EST /CST time zones.Location: West Chester, PA (Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in the office),Resolution Life US is committed to disclosing a reasonable estimate of the base salary for our job roles.
