Job summary

Brilliant® in Charlotte is seeking a Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of technology solutions across the business, with a strong emphasis on AI-enabled product development.

The role requires high ownership, collaboration with executives and stakeholders, and the use of Claude, Copilot, and ChatGPT to streamline research, prototyping, and decision‑making. This is a hybrid role with two onsite days weekly.

Job Location: Hybrid in Charlotte (Target of 2 days onsite a week)

Position Summary

• The Product Manager will own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of technology solutions supporting critical areas of the business. This is a highly collaborative, high-ownership role for someone who can operate at the intersection of product, technology, business operations, and AI.
• The ideal candidate is a high-agency product professional who takes extreme ownership of outcomes, builds strong relationships with business stakeholders and executives, and is comfortable operating with ambiguity. This person should be highly fluent in modern AI capabilities and view AI, automation, and emerging technology as core tools for improving how products and business processes are designed and delivered.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmap for a critical area of the business, partnering with business leaders, executives, and technical teams to establish vision, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
• Take extreme ownership of product outcomes from discovery through delivery and post-launch optimization.
• Build trusted relationships with business stakeholders, executives, customers, vendors, and technology teams to understand business priorities, surface problems, and identify opportunities.
• Act as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business objectives into clear product requirements and actionable technical direction.
• Use AI as a core part of the product management workflow, leveraging tools such as Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, agentic platforms, and emerging AI technologies for research, analysis, prototyping, documentation, decision-making, and productivity.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to eliminate manual work, improve processes, reduce friction, and create scalable business capabilities.
• Re-engineer workflows end-to-end by challenging existing processes and determining whether problems are best solved through product development, automation, AI, process redesign, or a combination of approaches.
• Lead product discovery through delivery, including requirements definition, prioritization, roadmap development, development partnership, testing, launch, and post-launch measurement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software product management or a related product role within an Agile environment.
• Demonstrated experience owning products, features, or significant initiatives from discovery through delivery.
• Proven ability to develop strong relationships with business stakeholders and executives.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex stakeholder groups and competing priorities.
• Demonstrated practical use of AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, agentic platforms, or similar technologies to materially improve productivity and decision-making.
• Strong understanding of modern software development and Agile methodologies.
