Checkr, Inc. is hiring a product operations/PM leader to drive high-priority programs across engineering, design, and product teams in a data-driven environment.

You will build comprehensive program plans, define success metrics, and run quarterly planning while partnering with leadership to ensure timely delivery and adoption of complex initiatives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in product operations, technical program management, product management, or business operations.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional launches or multi-quarter programs from strategy through rollout and adoption.
• Experience building repeatable systems for roadmap, prioritization, and planning across product and engineering teams.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools (e.g., Claude Skills, Cowork, Codex).
• Exceptional communicator who informs and updates senior stakeholders concisely and decisively.
• Familiarity with enterprise B2B SaaS, phased rollouts, or compliance-driven environments is a plus.
• An action-oriented mindset with ownership and urgency.

• Run quarterly and annual product planning cadence with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership.
• Define, track, and report on product KPIs, operational metrics, and SLAs with cross-functional partners.
• Build agentic workflows and processes using AI tools to raise velocity and launch quality.
• Own cross-departmental initiatives like internal tool rollouts and PRD templates, turning retrospectives into better defaults.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and execute end-to-end delivery of high-priority product programs across different teams within Checkr, from early access with external customers through GA exit criteria and post-launch follow-through
• Build integrated program plans that define scope, milestones, owners, dependencies, decision points, success measures, and escalation paths
• Run the quarterly and annual product planning cadence with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership
• Define, track, and report on product KPIs, operational metrics, and SLAs alongside product managers, engineers, and data scientists
• Build agentic workflows and processes using tools like Claude Skills and Cowork to raise engineering velocity and launch quality
• Own cross-departmental initiatives without a single owner, such as internal tool rollouts and PRD templates, and turn launch retros into better defaults

What You Bring

• 4+ years in product operations, technical program management, product management, or business operations, ideally at a technology company handling sensitive or regulated data
• Track record of leading complex, cross-functional launches or multi-quarter programs from strategy through rollout and adoption
• Experience building repeatable systems for roadmap, prioritization, and planning across product and engineering teams
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools (e.g., Claude Skills, Cowork, Codex), plus strong written and verbal communication, including concise, decision-ready updates for senior stakeholders
• Exceptional communicator who influences without authority across diverse stakeholders (Product, Eng, Legal, Security, GTM) and delivers concise, decision-ready executive updates
• Familiarity with enterprise B2B SaaS, phased rollouts, or compliance-driven environments (FCRA, EEOC, GDPR, CCPA) is a plus
• An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. On-target Earnings OR Base Salary range (San Francisco, CA)

$159,000—$187,000 USD

On-target Earnings OR Base Salary range (Denver, CO)

$134,000—$158,000 USD
