About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Product Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our core data environment supports our broader product roadmaps. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management and will work closely with internal stakeholders, including our internal technology, analytics, and peer product teams. As a Data Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional data initiatives to drive alignment and achieve strategic goals.

In this role, you will define and prioritize data product features and requirements, ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance with relevant regulations. You will develop and maintain a deep understanding of data sources, data flows, and data architecture, driving the development and implementation of data management best practices. Additionally, you will monitor and analyze data product performance, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Data Product Manager or similar role, with a strong understanding of data management principles and practices.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data needs and ensure the core data environment supports product roadmaps.
  • Work closely with internal technology and analytics teams to manage and optimize data infrastructure.
  • Partner with peer product teams to integrate data solutions into broader product strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional data initiatives to drive alignment and achieve strategic goals.
  • Partner with the data team to analyze and drive data acquisition and development strategies.
  • Define and prioritize data product features and requirements.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of data sources, data flows, and data architecture.
  • Drive the development and implementation of data management best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze data product performance and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of Product Management experience or in a related field where data products are developed/improved in a systematic and customer-centric manner.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders, technology, and analytics teams.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to define and prioritize product features and requirements.
  • Knowledge of data quality, governance, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with data infrastructure and architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • LEAN/Agile/Kanban as well as JIRA familiarity preferred.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with data integration and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms.
  • Understanding of machine learning and AI concepts.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $93,400 - $155,700. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. Base Pay Range for CO is $93,400 - $155,700. Base Pay Range for IL is $98,100 - $163,500. Base Pay Range for Chicago, IL is $102,800 - $171,300. Base Pay Range for MD is $98,100 - $163,500. Base Pay Range for NY is $102,800 - $171,300. Base Pay Range for New York City is $107,400 - $179,100. Base Pay Range for Rochester, NY is $88,700 - $147,900. Base Pay Range for OH is $88,700 - $147,900.
