Job summary

cabi is seeking a Merchandiser or Senior Merchandiser to join our Product team in Long Beach, CA. This role owns parts of seasonal product assortments, translating brand storytelling into commercially viable lines in partnership with Design, Sourcing & Development, and Inventory Management.

You will lead the Assistant Product Merchandiser, analyze performance data, and guide buy planning, margin targets, and lifecycle decisions while maintaining brand integrity and go-to-market execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
• 4–7+ years of experience in buying, merchandising, or product development in women’s apparel.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen; Excel and data trackers for buy depth.

Responsibilities

• Own or support seasonal assortment strategy, line architecture, and category growth.
• Track and analyze style- and category-level performance data to inform buying decisions.
• Maintain product development critical path, line plans, and milestone documents.
• Collaborate with Design, Sourcing & Development on sample flow and development milestones.
• Support costing and margin analysis at style or category level.
• Partner with Inventory Management on buy depth and lifecycle decisions.
• Build insights from competitive market research to inform assortment strategy.
• Present hindsight recaps and forward-looking business cases.
