Job description

We are looking for a Brand Merchandiser. This role is at the heart of bringing exciting products to market, focusing on strategic merchandising and assortment planning. You will play a critical part in translating consumer insights into compelling product offerings, ensuring that assortments are not only segmented appropriately but also deliver differentiation and drive incremental growth. Your work will directly contribute to profitable, consumer-right assortments that resonate across the marketplace, optimizing product placement and overall market strategy.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the finalization of category assortment plans, resolving any issues related to product flow, pricing, and distribution decisions.
  • Ensure that the category vision for assortments is effectively translated to the retail floor, resulting in profitable and consumer-centric product offerings.
  • Optimize the planning and strategic placement of products within appropriate formats to maximize market impact.
  • Contribute to in-season management, pre-season planning, and the successful execution of product assortments.
  • Develop and deliver post-season recaps and business insights to internal audiences, informing future strategies.
  • Engage in consumer insights analysis, assortment planning, Go-to-Market strategies, and product management activities.
  • Collaborate closely with a dedicated direct team and a wider cross-functional group to achieve shared objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of directly relevant work experience in merchandising, planning, or a similar role.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Alternatively, the following combinations of education and experience will be considered: PhD or Law degree + 3 years; Master’s degree + 4 years; Associate’s degree + 6 years; High School Diploma + 7 years.
