Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino, California, is seeking a skilled Product Merchandiser to define and build the assortment of third party accessories for the Apple Store and Apple Online Store.

You will partner with vendors, Product Marketing, Engineering and Operations to drive growth while elevating the Apple ecosystem. This role requires 10+ years in buying/merchandising, strong analytics, and excellent cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Partner with technical teams (Engineering, Developer Relations, MFI) to ensure third party products effectively elevate the experience of key Apple technologies and services.
  • Drive the commercial performance of the assortment, using detailed analytics and qualitative research.
  • Understand and share insights which can drive the performance of Apple’s own accessory products and effectively communicate opportunity to internal partners.

These products enhance customers’ experience of Apple products and services in Apple Stores and Apple Online Stores around the world.

Description

We are looking for a skilled merchant who can balance multiple priorities, and build productive internal and external relationships with key business partners including Developer Relations, Product Marketing, Industrial Design, Marcom, Engineering and Operations while contributing to an inclusive environment through respecting each other’s differences and having the curiosity to learn.

Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications
  • 10+ years proven experience in buying, merchandising or product development.
  • Strong data analysis skills and business acumen.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, ability to build and develop strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Skilled partnership manager experience with the ability to develop relationships at all levels including senior management.
  • Experience leading senior level relationships with external vendors and internal partners.
  • Experience presenting complex topics to senior leadership.
  • Excellent time management, multi-tasking, organizational, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $140,700 and $268,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
