Job summary

Holley in Boyne City, MI is hiring a New Product & Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design of new and improved products from concept through production. You will create 3D CAD models, drawings, and manufacturing files using SolidWorks, and support prototype builds and launches with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and at least three years of design or manufacturing experience with BOMs, engineering changes, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in mechanical design or manufacturing engineering.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and 3D modeling.
• Experience with BOMs, documentation, and revision control.
• Experience supporting manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Strong project-management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product design projects with cross-functional teams.
• Develop designs for products and components, including packaging and fixtures.
• Create and maintain 3D CAD models, drawings, and manufacturing files in SolidWorks.
• Prepare BOMs and manufacturing documentation with revision control.
• Support prototypes, launches, and manufacturing training.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Product Management, and suppliers.
