Job summary

Baseten in San Francisco seeks an experienced Product Marketing Manager to drive post-training offerings for developers and enterprise customers. You will craft compelling narratives, build marketing assets, and collaborate with product, engineering, sales, and growth teams to bring new features to market.

You are technically savvy, with experience in AI infrastructure and a track record of translating complex concepts into clear messages for technical decision-makers.

Qualifications

  • 3–8+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or SaaS.
  • Proven success creating technical product marketing content and campaigns targeting developer audiences.
  • Working understanding of the LLM landscape: post-training, open-weight and closed models, training techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Technically adept and comfortable working with engineering teams to understand product capabilities.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure, model training, and post-training concepts.
  • Familiarity with developer ecosystems, APIs, and modern software development practices.
  • Worked at a fast-moving startup and can adjust quickly

  • Content Development: Create high-quality marketing assets, including white papers, technical blogs, demos, and customer case studies.
  • Sales Enablement: Build resources and programs that empower our sales teams to effectively communicate Baseten’s capabilities and benefits.
  • Market Insights: Understand the fast-moving AI market and build competitive and market analysis to inform product positioning strategies.

ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager with a strong background in engaging developer audiences and delivering impactful go-to-market programs for native AI and enterprise companies. This role requires someone who is both technically savvy and strategic, with a proven track record of crafting compelling product narratives and building marketing assets that resonate with technical decision-makers. This role is specifically focused on our post-training offerings at Baseten. We’re looking for someone who has experience in and is ready to learn more about all things post-training.
