Jobtailor in Phoenix, AZ seeks a senior product marketing leader to shape positioning and market narratives for Virtuous Raise and Virtuous Volunteer. You will translate releases into compelling stories for directors of development and VPs of marketing, driving go-to-market success across campaigns and sales enablement.

The role emphasizes pipeline ownership, collaboration with Demand, Sales, and Customer Success, and accountability for revenue goals in a lean, cross-functional team.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in product marketing, demand/campaign marketing, or a hybrid GTM role at a B2B SaaS company.
  • Real accountability for pipeline or bookings.
  • Experience owning go-to-market strategy for a product or product line end to end, including positioning, messaging, campaign strategy, and sales enablement.
  • Comfort partnering with channel-execution teams including paid, SDR, field, email, and direct mail without running those channels.
  • Track record of being in front of prospects, customers, or analysts.
  • Exceptionally organized; strong project planning and management skills.
  • Fluency with AI tools for everyday research, positioning, and content workflow.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a lean team.
  • Nice to have: experience in nonprofit tech, higher education, or another relational, long-sales-cycle vertical.
  • Nice to have: experience building a PMM function from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Define positioning, messaging, and market narrative for Virtuous Raise and Virtuous Volunteer.
  • Translate Product releases into market-facing stories for directors of development and VPs of marketing.
  • Own pipeline and revenue goals for the unit alongside Demand and the GM.
  • Diagnose and fix pipeline or revenue shortfalls.
  • Work with customer marketing to grow adoption in the existing customer base.
  • Develop campaign audiences, messaging, and campaign briefs in partnership with Demand.
  • Hold campaign plans accountable to pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Partner with Sales on competitive positioning, objection handling, proof points, and pricing narratives.
  • Support deals requiring additional go-to-market support.
  • Work with Customer Success on adoption and expansion messaging.
  • Own go-to-market plans for significant product launches, including audience, message, channel plan, and Sales messaging.
  • Track product positioning against competitors and apply market intelligence to campaigns and sales conversations.
  • Report to the GM, Donor Experience, and collaborate with Product, Operations, Demand, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
